Tattered "Tangles" and pics from CHA!

Hi!

We have a snow day here in Indiana so I figured it would be a perfect time to get caught up on my not so favorite parts of this scrapbook and mixed media world....BLOGGING! lol

Thanks to Canvas Corp and Tattered Angels and 7Gypsies,
I had the opportunity to have a few of my projects showcased again at CHA.
Today I will share with you my projects in the Tattered Angels Booth showcasing the
"Tattered Tangels" line.

Check out the entire line of Tattered Tangles on the Tattered Angels Pinterest board here.

^^^ Does that not cause you to drool?!

Some wings I created for the booth!

Here are the pics that I took of them before I sent them off...
I fussy cut the heart from the tattered tangles line and placed it on a mini canvas corp canvas.  I created the wings with pink tulle and strips of canvas.

Here you can see I topped off the wings with some black punchinella from Gauche Alchemy!  I think it added a little rockstar quality to them...

Next,
The hot air balloon!

I fell in love with this particular page from the tattered tangles line.  It was so fun to create the billowing clouds with them.  I could also see this interpreted into waves for a different take on a beach or water thee page!

One of the pages from the tattered tangles line has nothing but inspiring quotes that will put a smile on your face...

Because I was having a hard time making it look like my son was "in" the basket and not behind it, I used another tiny canvas glued him to the front of it...then I took apart some of the canvas corp tiny clothespins and created a "weaved" looking basket around him.  Then I painted it and inked it up for definition.  I even used the springs from two of the clothespins at the top of the strings.

This tattered tangles line is so fun and versatile.  Full of whimsy but can also create some great dramatic pages as well.  I can't wait to see future projects created with this line!  I have several ideas...

This line will be available in March!

Thanks for stopping by!

I will be back tomorrow to show you two more projects I created with 7 gypsies...
