Steampunk heart box (process video tutorial)

Hi!
Hope everyone is staying nice and warm right now.  I'm really envious of my Aussie friends right now with their warm weather and beach pics!  Yesterday school was called off again, because we are experiencing -40 (f) wind chill temps. So far we've had 2 hour delays just about every day since our Christmas break and we've had about 7-8 snow days.  I don't remember ever missing this much school!

The good thing is though, that I don't work when there is no school so I get a little extra snuggle time with the kiddo's and I can catch up on some crafty time!

Today, I want to share a grungy heart box created for Canvas Corp.

This of course was inspired by Finn, although I really tried to make sure that it didn't take on her style completely.  Ultimately, just about everything I create is inspired by her because she was my #1 reason for wanting to get into mixed media art.  I was am blown away by her talent, as I'm sure so many of you are as well.

I covered the box in some gorgeous tissue paper from 7gypsies.  Then I added some burlap and scalloped tags from Canvas Corp for some texture on the box...added some Scrap Fx cogs, and junk from my pile,...and then topped it off with several different kinds of tattered angels paints.

This was so much fun to create but I will tell you that my hands were so grunged up that it took some major soaking to get rid of the paint in my nail line! lol

I almost didn't do this video. There was A LOT of boring editing that had to be done and that mixed with computer issues made it really annoying, but I finally made myself do it.

So here it is...
