Upcycled jewelry box

Hi!
As promised, I'm here to share my altered jewelry box. Apparently when I bought it at a rummage sale this summer, someone had already made an attempt to glam it up with some paper flowers...
I decided to scrape off the flowers and then cover them with a collage of gauche ephemera and then added gesso and punchinella and then topped it off with some black diy mist using Dr. Ph. Martin inks.

To dress it up a little further, I added the mirror from the inside to the outside and blinged it out with some want2scrap.

I then added some black lace washi and stamped and misted the inside cardboard pieces.
I also added some black eyelets the front and sides of the box.

I'm really starting to have fun with altered projects.
Have you tried any OTP projects lately?

Well, that's all for today!
Hope you are having a fantastic weekend!
Thanks for stopping by and I will see ya next week!

Oh miss Misty...this is so amazing! You are a creative queen. I love, love, love this box! Funny thing is, I have the exact same one (in better shape though), it belonged to my grandma. :) Hmmm. Maybe I could do something fun with it? You rock, ladycakes!
