Hi! I'm here again to share with you 2 of my Scrap Fx projects that I made for September.
For September, Jill challenged us to take a walk on the wild side with her adorable selection of animal chippy's.
Here are some of my favorite from the release...

ruffled feather Model: 2012223![]() fish bowl Model: 2012220 ![]() dog and kennel Model: 22012229 I already have the Dog and Kennel painted up and ready for me to use on another page... Here is another mixed media canvas I made using the birdies and "feathered friends" wordlet. I used real branches and painted them with gesso and then used a variety of art mediums like paints, chalks, inks pan pastels, and glossy accents to dress up the birds and wordlet. This was so much fun to make. Its a little unusual because of it extreme 3d quality but I decided to go with it anyway! Next, I have a grungy card. Since I used the too cute Bee Hive chippy's, I had to go all the way with the bee theme and use some beeswax. This was my first time playing with wax and let me tell you... I have a lot to learn!!! Unfortunately, I still haven't bought a craft iron so I was limited to my heat gun and it was a bit of a struggle keeping the wax where i wanted it. When I did finally get it to melt in place, I loved that it really sealed the antique gold punchinella! That's all for today... Thank you so much for stopping by, I really appreciate your sweet comments! |
