Using Scrap Fx chippy's as stencils and stamps

Hi, all! Behind again getting my posts up.  I would feel a little guilty but my baby boy starts kindergarten next week and I think my time is being well spent!  I'm going to miss the kid!

Products:
Iris Flower Stencil
Eyes are windows to the sould wordlet
lace
ouchless cardboard

I used the flowers from the circle as a stencil to create an embossed look with gesso.
And now for my second layout...

Here is a photo of the texture before embellishing...

For this background I took the retro rectangle corners and used it as a stencil with gesso and modeling paste on different areas of the page., then I flipped it over and since there was a lot of gesso still left on the chippy I used it randomly as a stamp as well.

Scrap Fx Products:
Large Cog
Experience lifes journey
Retro rectangles corner

Gauche Alchemy Products:
punchinella
washi

I love the large cogs!  I think this style of cog would look great with one of the diy vines wrapped around it for a page.

That's it for now!

However, I am wondering...

what are your favorite Scrap Fx chippy's?  I am considering opening a store to sell them but would love to know what you would be interested in!

So let me know!

Awesome pages! I love how you take grungy design and use it for "softer" subjects and sentiments...very cool! I here ya girl..my girl is beginning 1st grade and then the baby is all over the place. It's tough to balance family, creating and blogging! Opening a store?! How cool!

Wow! Both of these are just fabulous! The first looks so pretty and the title is awesome. The second has such wonderful texture to it! Love both of them.

ahhh- two more gorgeous layouts! I love, love, love the texture. I'm not familiar with Scrap fx's newest products- I feel like I've been gone for a year- but so far the Cog is my favorite, lol, and I'm off to check there other products while having my am coffee. I'm sure you must have mentioned this in a previous post, but what are you using as a substrate? I have one or two heavy layouts that I used chipboard.

hooroo- me again! Now I remember why I couldn't get scrap fx- they're in Australia! Anyhoo- I love ALL the steampunk, ALL the flourishes and the engineering stencils. (and pretty much everything else, haha) Does that help?

Awesome layouts! I love that second one! The colors and texture are very masculine. Know what you mean about school starting. Hard to believe. My oldest starts k-4 soon as well. Sad how fast they grow.
