I'm so excited to announce that Gauche Alchemy and Viva Las Vegas Stamps have partnered up.  That means that this week they will be using Gauche Products and we have had the chance to play with some of their AWESOME stamps!!!  Seriously, they have any and everything you can imagine and their prices can't be beat!

Here's what Maggi had to say about the swap:

"All this week our design team will be showing off some projects using VLVS stamps and the VLVS team will be going Gauche on their blog! Not only that but both teams are having a giveaway! VLVS is offering a pound of rubber to one lucky winner, see their blog for details! We’ll be giving away a mini ACME kit to one lucky person here at GA. To be entered for the mini ACME kit, leave a comment on this week’s posts. You’ll be entered once for every comment you leave throughout the week. Deadline to enter both giveaways is Friday the 13th. Our winner will be announced on the  GA blog on Saturday, July 14th.

But wait, there’s more! VLVS is offering 10% off your order this week, just use the code: GA10 AND we’re also offering 10% off your order in our store with code VLVS10. So get to shopping people cause these coupons are only good through the 13th"

For my project, I used the reverse side of a canvas and created my own puppet show.  Aside from being inspired by the paper doll stamp set itself, I was also dealing with some internal issues as well.
I have always been a people pleaser and I have to remind myself often that I can't make everyone happy!!!  Unfortunately, in trying to constantly keep peace and not offend anyone, I start to compromise my beliefs and opinions and in the end I just feel like a "puppet on a string".  So this came at a time when I needed another reminder...

My original plan was to have one of the Art Doll's looking like she was climbing a box to cut the other's strings.  Unfortunately, I only had a small canvas and I just couldn't get it to look right?  So as I was looking for a new way to make it happen I noticed my Scrap Fx angel wings and decided making an angel would be a perfect fix!  So it unintentionally became very heaven vs. hell-ish! So I went with it and added the red punchinella to look like flames...

I used a small brick stamp from vlvs and then added some modeling paste over it and used the rectangle punchinella as a

I hate that I had to demonize my sweet little jack in the box from Scrap Fx like this, but he seemed like the perfect little "puppet master".

Well that's it for today! Make sure you stop by the Gauche Alchemy and VLVS blogs for a chance to win some goodies!!!
Hope everyone is having a great week!
