altered journal for my niece

Hi all!  I'm back as I promised with a journal I made for my niece.  She is always drawing awesome sketches so I decided to alter an art journal for her.  I did an image transfer with gesso.  Unfortunately, I did it once again the wrong way.  I used an inkjet print (your supposed to use laser jet or photocopy), then being impatient I started removing the backing before it was totally dry so thats why you see the streaks.  I didn't mind though because it sort of looks like a continuation of the sunbeams...maybe? :)

I do like the look of the misted modeling paste because it makes it look like stone.
