Its reveal day today for challenge #35 at Punky Scraps. My favorite challenge of the month, Get Picky!This month team B picked quite a variety of ingredients for us to work with.

WOWZA! Now that was a list!
So, onto my layout. The picture was inspired by a pic I found online here. I had actually hoped to use the actual pic but couldn't get in contact with Katie, so I had to resort to my photography skills (or lack there of). Actually, I'm happy with the pic that I took from my Iphone with the hipstamatic app. Here is the my pic:

So, for those who are still following along I will share some extra thoughts. This layout is all about faith and prayer and how we as Christians are supposed to put on the armor of God daily. I burned the bible edges as a reminder to never be a lukewarm Christian but to always be on fire for God...which is also why I chose the key hole I did...because it looked like flames. The netting...well I just love to use netting...but also it reminded me of a fishing net and that we are to be fishers of men. Unfortunately, too many Christians, including myself, have failed in this area. We are too busy judging and not showing Gods love...all while doing so in the name of Christ. So, with that said, comes Gods grace...for the lost and the Christians, like myself, who screw up daily. I used the barbed wire to symbolize the crown of thorns...and the bow reminded me of how his grace and mercy are gifts that He's given to us eventhough none of us are deserving of it!
So once again...some deep thoughts by Misty! ;)

Misty I wish I lived nearby- we would be even bigger friends! I love your philosophy on acceptance and your openness. This page is AMAZING!!!!!! As always the experimentation and complexity is fantastic- th design is great and the photo is JAW DROPPING! D you have an Instagram account? You should- then I could "friend" you there as well.
