Twisted Sketches layout

Ok, I have to confess...I am really struggling with pushing out a layout a day.  I'm really out of my comfort zone because I'm whipping them out within an hour and I hate not having them more detailed!!!  It is killing me...but I have have 16 more layouts to get done before May 7th...so I'm throwing perfectionism to the wind!!!!

Luckily, I have great sketches to work with to help inspire ideas a little faster...

This is twisted sketch #98 with the twist of paint (something I can't live without lately)

Twistedsketches_098

Here is my take:

I used gesso and Anita's brand metallic topaz on the background...Used the middle of a crafters workshop template (tcw140) and gel medium for the sun...then sprayed around the sun and the sky with some more shimmerz (a creamy orange color...my sticker was gone from the bottom of the bottle so I don't know what the name is).  For the sand I used more gel medium mixed with sand and some folkart gold glitter paint.  I also used the medium randomly on all my letters and then sprayed some mud pie shimmerz over them...to make them look like they are covered in the sand as well...

Thanks for looking!!!

WOW!!!! misty! this is amazing! and so creative! and a great big WOW - you are a scrapping machine!!! ok...you need to take the She ART workshop. I think you will LOVE it! and I think you can actually join it at any time now...and the videos are open to you for the full 3 months no matter when you sign up...at least that is what the info said when I last read it. It is sooo much FUN!!!! I have been so busy that I haven't signed up for the 3 hearts workshop yet! I need to just get over there and get it done...I haven't finished the videos to the She ART in full yet...but I have until the end of May. I think it's worth it girl...and if you do...I wanta hear what you think!!!!!!

This is so awesome. I haven't done any scrapbook pages yet all paper crafts so far I really haven't seen anything that would really fit with my life and pictures. This totally inspires me. My friend is always talking about gel medium and now I want to learn more. Thank you for sharing this is beautiful.
